At Bakery Speceri, we bake a lot of delicious bread using organically grown grains. We bake our bread with sourdough and let the bread rise slowly over a long period to become moist, flavorful, and sustainable. Every day, all year round, we bake the bread in our stone ovens. Only real butter crosses our threshold, and most things from eggs to spices are organic. We work with, among others, Warbro Kvarn’s stone-ground flours of original grains and collaborate with many producers in Sörmland. Our bakery is built to showcase the craftsmanship we do, so don’t hesitate to ask any questions you may have about flavors, sourdough, bread, and flour.
Our bakery is located in the large Yellow Industrial House right by the shore of Lake Mälaren in the middle of Stallarholmen. Here, we bakers are joined by many other artisans. Here you can visit the Samverket crafts and reuse gallery, buy artisanally stuffed sausages, explore vintage shops, work out, have a chair reupholstered, find bargains at a flea market, take your pet to the vet, visit the local newspaper editorial office, play bridge and boules, swim, dock your boat, listen to concerts… and buy organic sourdough bread. Right next to the bakery, you can sit down in our lovely café with a newspaper and a cup of good organic coffee.
