Due to the conditions in Region Sörmland for the year 2025, Nynäs Castle has chosen to pause castle tours, exhibitions, and restaurant operations!

At Nynäs, there’s still plenty to see and experience on your own! Let the children play, balance, and run in The Playful Garden, or take a walk through the Nature Portal to learn more about animals and nature. The history in Sörmland guides you around both the castle grounds and further into the reserve. Follow the red pennants and discover the history that exists here. Take a trip to the museum farm Långmaren, an effective time machine for those who want to travel back to 1940s Sörmland.

Nynäs nature reserve is one of the largest in Sörmland. Perhaps you head towards the coast, where the cliffs dive hand in hand into the sea. Or towards the marshes, lined with silent trees. Maybe you are drawn to one of the many lakes, with water that is magically crystal clear.

There is also the possibility to rent canoes, rowing boats, and bicycles here. In Bränneriet’s reception during high season (June 23 – August 1), various garden games, nets, and magnifying glasses are available for loan, as well as ice cream and gifts for sale.
