Ceramics of stoneware, sculptural and hand-thrown craftwork.
I am a ceramicist and have worked with clay for over 40 years. Among all different techniques, throwing has become my favorite, which has made me a skilled craftsman. Most of the time, I choose to work with stoneware and porcelain clays. My creations in clay result in both craftwork and sculptures. I mix my own glazes and fire in a gas kiln.
Apparel for women, own design and sewing.
Color and shape are the cornerstones of my creation, and in the world of fabrics, the availability of textiles with exciting patterns and colors is now enormous, often of very good quality. For me, it’s just about choosing fabrics, grabbing the scissors and sewing machine, and adding the shape. All creations become unique. The sizes are usually around 40-42, but there is also the possibility of custom orders, and you can also choose the fabrics yourself.
Painting with techniques: watercolor, oil pastel, and acrylic.
In painting, I also get to unleash my creativity in color and form, perhaps even more freely than with clay, which has its own will – gravity. My paintings often become abstract, but I also paint portraits. My techniques are watercolor, oil pastel, and acrylic.
Courses Pottery “try-it-out” tailored courses.
A “try-it-out course” can be anything from a single person to a small group, lasting a few hours, a day, or a week. We discuss what you want to learn and mutually agree on the course setup. You can be a beginner or have tried it before. Following the clay’s development from a soft and moist lump to a finished form that you have created, glazed, and fired – it’s a wonderfully satisfying feeling.
