When we first bought the equipment from a closed test brewery, none of us had even brewed a beer at home in the kitchen. We had to start by assembling our little brewery system and then learn how to brew beer. We then began to experiment and test our way forward. None of us are beer nerds who throw around jargon about different processes. We just like good beer and challenges. The goal was to create a Session IPA. A beer that you can drink many of without getting tired of the taste and without getting too dizzy. A few years and a few 1000 liters later, we found the right one. Our first beer was ready, Blacksta Brewery Sörmland IPA -SIPA- was launched in 2018!
