At Malmköping’s Bath and Camping, Everything Needed for a Relaxing Vacation is Available

The reason guests keep coming back year after year to Malmköping Bath and Camping is the combination of the personal welcome, top-class service facilities, and the location, says Carola Rydberg.

– Our location is perfect, right in Sörmland, at a convenient distance from everything.

The campsite is located by a beautiful inland lake that invites swimming and activities on its own sandy beach. The area has everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

– Parents who have worked hard all year come here and now just want to relax. They can sit with a cup of coffee and a good book and see or hear the children playing nearby. The kids keep themselves busy all day and only come back when they are hungry.

If you don’t want to cook yourself, Malma Strand is open all summer.

– Every Friday and Saturday we have live music on the veranda. There is free entry and you can stay as long as you want. Some take the opportunity to enjoy a good dinner and listen to the music, others maybe have a coffee or a glass of wine. There is always a great atmosphere.

Nature-related activities suitable for both young and old

When the book is finished and you start feeling the need to move, there are plenty of activities at Malmköping Bath and Camping. Malmköping Museum Tramway has a stop at the campsite. On warm days, one might hang out on the sandy beach, which also has a diving tower. There is a separate beach for dogs and showers at the service facility. If you want to get out on the water, there are boats for hire and fishing licenses available for purchase. If the sun isn’t hot enough, the campsite also has a truly luxurious sauna, accommodating large groups.

Adventure golf is an activity suitable for everyone, both children and adults. The courses at Malmköping Camping are designed so that both beginners and the more experienced can play together. Each hole offers two paths to play, one easier and one more challenging.

There are also great opportunities for forest walks and hikes, both shorter and longer distances. A section of the 1000 km long Sörmlandsleden runs right next to the campsite. For cycling, there is the Näckrosleden trail.

– Many have used our campsite as a stopover when coming from the north and heading down towards Öland. They would stay here for one or two nights. Then they realized why continue south when everything they need is here. So now they stay for one to two weeks instead, says Carola.

The service facilities at the campsite are absolutely top-notch, the largest is 5-star. Also with a chandelier in the ceiling!

Malmköping Bath and Camping has 180 camping spots, 12 cabins, and a hostel. Motorhomes are also offered pitches, on the lawn in a cozy garden. The campsite is open all year round, and during the summer there’s also a café, pub, and restaurant. The campsite applies a drop-in system, so no reservation is needed.
