Åsa Burial Ground on Selaön is one of Södermanland’s largest preserved burial grounds from the Late Iron Age.
Here, there are approximately 250 different burial structures. The most well-known ancient monument is a ship setting originally made up of 24 standing stones, called Åsa Judge’s Seat.
Thanks to its elevated position, Åsa Burial Ground offers a very beautiful viewpoint over the landscape of Selaön. In spring, many visitors are attracted to see the rare and protected pasque flowers that bloom here.
