Enjoy homemade food and culture in an idyllic archipelago setting with views over islands and boating life! The old sailor’s inn has origins dating back to the 1600s and is beautifully located in old Oxelösund. We have full rights.
Under the collective name Culture at Krogbacken, we have music, authors, and art during the summer. Evening concerts on Saturdays with many fine artists. Tickets can be purchased on our website.
On Tuesdays, we are visited by fantastic authors. On Author Tuesdays, there is free entry for café guests.
There is also free entry for café guests on our traditional Bellman Day, Sunday the 28th of July.
During the summer, we will also have art exhibitions at the inn.

We serve pastries, cookies, and cakes as well as lighter meals, and we have full rights. We also organize coffee parties, dinners, and festive events for booked groups.
Opening hours
We open for the season at Easter. We are open on Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday, and Easter Monday from 11 am to 3 pm.
Thereafter, we are open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 3 pm.
We are also open on the 1st of May, Ascension Day, and National Day.
