Theatre Klämman AB is run by Anne and Janne Öster. The couple moved to Mellösa in 1987 and settled at Fridals gård, the same place that today is Theatre Klämman. At that time, there was only a small cottage with accompanying small houses that still remain on the farm today. In 2008, the Theatre Klämman venue was completed and is now a cosy venue used year-round.
Today, Theatre Klämman is an established place for musicians and other cultural performers who want to come here and perform for an attentive audience. Theatre Klämman is a relaxing cultural oasis with a wide range of entertainment.
Over the years, Anne and Janne have worked with many children, young people, and adults through their cultural groups, thereby helping culture to thrive in large parts of Sörmland, with Mellösa as the starting point. Theatre Klämman is run as a family business where the daughters Sanna Andersson, Annelie Strindberg, and son-in-law Johan Strindberg work closely together with Anne and Janne Öster.
